Duplicate Driving Licence
A Duplicate Driving Licence is issued when the original DL is lost, stolen, destroyed, or damaged.
It carries the same DL number, validity, and vehicle class authorisation as the original.
When should you apply?
If DL is lost or stolen (FIR/affidavit required).
If DL is damaged/torn/unreadable.
If DL is defaced and not usable.
